Gender: Male
Rank: ANBU
Village: Kirigakure
Affiliations: None Currently, may pick up some In Character
Elements: Water Release, Wind Release.
Specialities: Primary: Ninjutsu; Secondary: Fuinjutsu, Weaponry;
Clan: Yuki ClanKekkei Genkai: The Yuki Clan Bloodline allows for select shinobi to simultaneously utilize their Wind and Water release in order to form Ice, an advanced elemental release. Ninja with this feat are able to create and use Ice Release techniques, just as they would with any other basic element. Requires that the shinobi take Water and Wind as their basic elements.
Personality: Toshihiro is a generally kind hearted and caring shinobi, and was raised to be loyal to his family, his friends, and his village. He feels a deep desire to serve his more senior shinobi, and the Mizukage, as best as he can. Not dwelling on the problems or tragic news, he tends to be upbeat with his attitude, always can find the good in any person or situation, and holds his head up high. Some may find his cheerful demeanor to be improper of a shinobi, but in his mind, he is just trying to enjoy life, and to bring a smile to those around him.
Among his other noticeable qualities is his unwavering and ambitious drive to better himself. Ever since he graduated from the academy, he has wanted to make a name for himself, and become a hero of a village with a bloodied past. However, he does have a strong sense of morals, and often times questions when shinobi must be deceptive or must break their commitments in order for the betterment of the village. He is very trusting, but will often questions the actions of others if he feels they are trying to become more powerful through immoral means.
Finally, he can become very attached to a particularly close group of friends. During his childhood, most of his family was heavily involved in the growth and security of Kirigakure, and this left him quite deprived and alone. He spent much of his earlier years studying seals, practicing new jutsu, or sharpening his skills with a blade, and missed out on meeting many of his fellow shinobi. Hopefully in between missions and ANBU assignments, he’ll make up for lost time and find some new found friends.

Appearance: Toshihiro is a fair skinned individual with spiked white hair. He stands around 6 feet tall and weighs around 175 pounds. His eyes have a chilling turquoise color, but his usual smile softens his expression. He has a slender face, and if you catch him in a good mood, his grin stretches from ear to ear.
Due to the typical dress codes of ANBU members, when working he can usually be seen in a long-sleeved black shirt, black pants and black shoes. Over-top, he is protected by a thick gray vest, bearing the marks of Kirigakure on each shoulder. His white mask is decorated with blue markings, by his younger sister, and is emblazoned with the markings of the Mist village. When he is out on a mission, he generally wears a black robe with a white overcoat and wooden sandals. On the back is the symbol of the Yuki clan, a giant large snowflake painted in black.
Currently, he does not wear a headband of his village, since his vest and ANBU mask are marked with his village. Instead, he prefers a turquoise green scarf that he wears around his neck.

Bio: Twenty years ago, Toshihiro was born in Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist. A member of the Yuki Clan, he was raised and nurtured among some of the finest shinobi within the community. His parents were both successful members of ANBU, many of his aunts and uncles either served alongside them, or mentored younger shinobi as Jonin, and most of his cousins had chosen to be ninja as well. In the loving arms of his grandparents, he was raised and loved throughout his infancy.
As a child, he often watched as the other children of the village were playing with one another, or walked the city streets. Rather than socializing, his clan had chosen a life of dedicated training and study for him. Every day, as his parents left on missions for what could be weeks at a time, his grandparents either tasked him with more difficult feats, or put scroll after scroll in front of him to review. Everything from history, to jutsu, to politics and etiquette was expected from him, and while he grew smarter and stronger every day, he became more and more isolated from his peers.
Within the academy, he excelled, making short work of the exercises, but he felt isolated from the other students who already knew each other. It became even more difficult when both of his parents went missing in a covert mission that went bad. His family had tried to explain to him that there was still hope, as they hadn’t found the bodies, and many of the ninja were returning in small pockets. As the days passed by, Toshihiro had accepted that his parents were now dead, and held his sister close. His grandparents continued to raise the two siblings as best they could, but he would never let anything happen to her.
His sister brought him a new found purpose, a new reason to excel. He quickly passed through the ranks of the academy and earned his rank as a Genin within the village. When he wasn’t with his new Jonin sensei, or out of the village on mission, he was training in the fields. He spent day after day working on his ninjutsu, as water from the nearby lake splashed against his dummy targets, and he practiced his sword techniques soon after, leaving large gashes in the wood. When it became too dark out, he retreated into the Yuki compound, and studied scroll after scroll. He would have to become stronger in order to protect his sister.
Years later, as he entered his teenage years, he became a Chunin within the village, and he became challenged with much harder missions. He became adept at the elemental ninjutsu of his clan, learning more and more Water and Wind techniques, and his swordsmanship had improved significantly. He spent more and more of his time learning sealing techniques from one of the more senior Jonin in the village, to the point where he became proficient with their design and usage.
Now, just after his twentieth birthday, he was selected by the Mizukage himself to become a member of the ANBU, an elite task force running covert and deadly missions. This spoke to how strong he had become as a shinobi. His sister had also become a ninja herself, and was growing up just like him. Not needing to be the sole protector of his family, he strives to prove himself to his Kage, as well as getting to know his fellow shinobi a bit better.
RP Sample: Not many people would ask for this kind of present on their twentieth birthday, but for Toshihiro, it was all he ever wanted. He held the blue ornate scroll from the Mizukage in his right hand, looking at it in disbelief. It was an order of promotion, asking for him to serve as a member of the village’s ANBU. He read it almost every night since he had received it, not necessarily out of doubt, but in revelry of his growth.
He had wanted nothing more than to achieve the rank of ANBU. His parents had both passed away on a covert mission, many of the details he was still not privy to. As the returning shinobi trickled in, day after day, he sat alongside his sister, waiting for their family’s return. Days turned into weeks, and eventually led to a month passing by. As he cradled his little sister in her arms, he knew that his parents were more than likely dead, somewhere in the vast landscape of the world.
He heard a knock alongside his door at the Yuki compound, faint and gentle, but still present.
“Come in,” he said, smiling and turning his attention to the door. The shadow of a hand appeared along the door, pulling it open just enough for his sister to slip in. In her other hand was a white mask, that she held carefully, not wanting to drop it or break it. A few tears cascaded out of her eyes, it was clear to Toshihiro that she had been crying, but her gentle smile was a sign of how proud she was.
She stepped forward, slowly, noticing that her brother was already dressed in his black undershirt and pants, the gray ANBU vest resting on the desk beside him. Her voice was slightly broken up by her tears, but she was doing her best to seem excited for her brother,
“Toshi, I finished your mask last night. I know I look sad, but I really am proud of you. Mom and dad would be too,” she said, as her smile grew.
Toshihiro accepted the mask, looking it over. Her sister had painted it with blue paint in a wolf like design. The mask had small ears near the top, and she did her best to draw in some fangs. He slid the band over his face, with the mask now tilted upward facing the ceiling. Arms extended outwards, he reached for his sister, and hugged her closely.
“I know you’re scared,” he said, “and that’s okay. I will always be here to protect you.”With that, he took his hand and gently brushed his sister’s face, wiping away the tears. Together they both smiled, before he said,
“I can’t wait for the day that we can work side by side.” With that his sister excused herself, and Toshihiro finished putting his gear into place. It wouldn’t be long before the Mizukage would want to meet with him.
